Woody

Woody first started climbing at the age of 12 and by 19 had soloed his first E6 rock climb! Many Lakeland first ascents followed, as did some notable firsts in winter and some credible winter alpine ascents.

Woody has been in the outdoor retail trade for as long as we can remember and is as passionate about outdoor gear as he is about his beloved Fireblade. 

Dom

Dom is our resident ‘gear freak’, he could be well capable of baffling Stephen Hawkings with facts and figures if it had anything to do with outdoor kit!

In his spare time Dom likes to do his charity work, making sure all the Ambleside public houses stay in business

Meg

Meg is a long standing member of Staff who is now part time so she can do her training to become a paramedic.

Meg is a super keen climber and is known to dabble in a bit of running.

Alex

Alex is our student part timer. She is currently doing a degree course in outdoor studies at St Martins College.

Alex is a keen Rock Climber.

Sheila

Sheila hides in the office and tries (unsuccessfully)  to keep the rest of them in order!
