This jacket provided the best fit of all the models, and the technical features are about as good as they get.

So you enjoy excellent freedom of movement, a great hood with a wired peak and a superb selection of pockets.

But what really sets this jacket apart is the exceptional level of condensation control which is second to none, thanks to the unique directional fabrics engineered by Nikwax (they actively force water and sweat out through the fabric.) For many, this level of condensation control will hike this jacket into first place and I would also say that it is the best here for colder weather.

But: Ventilation is available on the sleeves and front zip, but even if you wear less underneath this jacket it is still too warm for summer hill-walking. You can squeeze water through the fabric if you lean your elbow against wet rock for example, but as it gets pumped out so fast this is a minor niggle, so you won`t get wet during normal hill walking.

Buy it if: You want exceptional condensation control in a jacket that`s spot on for hill or valley walking in cooler weather.
