A Waterproof Fleece? Surely Not!

After three excursions in the driving Pennine rain for 2 to 3 hours at a time I am a very happy and dry Paramo Taiga owner.

The rain didn`t manage to get me wet even though I was expecting some to get through the pump liner.

I can`t believe a fleece could perform so well - but of course - it`s a Paramo.

I have been drying the fleece out after each walk and I am astounded by the amount of water that it has shed - because when I was wearing it I was as dry as a bone - that pump liner thing again.

I doubt it could withstand 4 or 5 hours of solid rain - but not having tried it I can`t say for sure. Anybody out there know the answer?

I haven`t bought the Fuera windproof top that goes with this yet - but it is probably only a matter of time as the combination of the two would be as good as my Alta jacket.

Please Please Please - if you are going to buy a fleece and you want the best in the business - buy the Paramo Taiga - a truly amazing piece of kit
