Description

HANWAG by Gottstein – traditional Bavarian shoemaking meets Tyrolean wool expertise. The Yak Clog combines wool expertise with leather know-how, bringing together traditional craftsmanship and comfort. At the heart of the clog, an anatomically shaped cork-latex midsole provides cushioning, stability and support, while also shaping the shoe’s distinctive, contemporary look. With its soft yak leather and wool felt, the Yak Clog combines two natural materials with functional properties. The yak leather adapts to the shape of the foot. Its distinctive, fibrous grain structure gives each pair its own character. HANWAG uses yak leather exclusively from herds raised in Mongolia. The leather is processed at the Josef Heinen leather tannery in Germany. The lining, felt-covered footbed and soft trim are made from 100% pure new wool – naturally mulesing-free.
